Woodpeckers for the Wise

“A woodpecker can tap twenty times on a thousand trees and get nowhere, but stay busy. Or he can tap twenty-thousand times on one tree and get dinner.” - Seth Godin
Lesson learned: Don’t to peck at a thousand trees if you really want to find results. Peck at one, and peck with all you’ve got. You may find dinner, or you may not. But odds are, all you ever wanted was a reason to peck with all you’ve got.

If they can find someone who can make a video like this i have trust in them. Or well, no i don’t but I really really enjoy all of this new UI stuff all over the place. It makes me excited to see what will actually get produced. I hope it all does. It looks beautiful. Enjoy. Or if you have time go here and watch it in high resolution. Its worth it.

Things like this make me so frustrated (if it’s only even partly accurate)
January 31, 2009 · 1 Comment

If these facts are indeed factual or even partly so then I am thoroughly disapointed.
Only 6 of the 24 Catholic Senators voted “yea” yesterday to restore the Mexico City Policy. Last week President Obama rescinded the policy of President Bush, and first instituted by Reagan, not to provide federal funds to organizations doing abortions overseas.
Don’t forget :This is the internet and there is no filter ( always remind yourself of that – no source is infallible on here ).
I think we need to concentrate FOCA-like efforts on every other bill (“Mexico City Policy” – USCCB fact sheet) that directly effects aborting more babies internationally than
The bill is actualy called:
Mexico City Policy and Assistance for Voluntary Population Planning
Is it only me that is a bit put off by “population planning”? I digress.
